I was watching some ball game and there was the Carl’s Jr. star but it said “Hardee’s” on the banner. Are Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr. the same restaurant or what?

UPDATE: A-ha. What, Carl’s Jr. didn’t poll well in some places so they changed the name?

    They are actually two different lines, as I understand it, but Carl’s Jr bought out Hardees and in some places replaced Hardees with Carl’s Jr. When I first moved to Stillwater, OK the Carl’s Jr, which appeared to be a former Hardee’s had a sign up that said it was serving Hardee’s breakfast. After the buyout I started seeing Hardee’s products showing up in Carl’s Jr and the Hardee’s stores started looking more like Carl’s Jr.

    Of course, I could have the whole chronoly wrong, butI think Ive got it right.

    Hmmm. As long as there are Western Bacon Cheeseburgers all will be well. Also, Double Western Bacon Cheeseburgers.
