Hmmm as sad as that probably is I haven’t really watched much of the series. It’s all paled in comparision to DS9. Now there was Star Trek at it’s pinnacle just no one watched. Oh well maybe they’ll knock it off for about 15 years then bring something out that at least comes close to matching DS9.

Yeah, it’s not the greatest Trek ever. But it took TNG three seasons to really get going. So I’m inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt.
