Bill O’Reilly says we should get out of Iraq.
Some people simply will not embrace freedom. We have millions of Americans in this country who are being abused one way or another and refuse to do anything about it. Freedom is never free. Freedom is hard.
And why haven’t the Iraqis got the hang of it yet? They’ve had a whole year. Losers, dump them. Oh, sure, it took hundreds of years for Western civilization to embrace the concept, but that’s different.
I say we give them another year or two.
Not So Fast 
It took us years of war against England, a few years under a crappy Articles of Confederation, and a near civil unrest before we went and wrote our current constitution. Hey, if it took George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson 10 years to make a country, without fighting an armed religious insurgent group, I think we can cut Iraq a little slack. It isn’t a video game.
Exactly my point. Of course, the last day or so haven’t been endearing them to me, but it’s not like we didn’t have the Tories to deal with back in the day. Okay, the analogy falls apart there, but you know what I mean.
