And?

Clinton and Gore testified to the 9/11 Commission privately. Where’s the uproar? They had 8 years to do something. I want public hearings. Okay, I don’t really, I just think the lack of uproar is a bit biased.

  1. Biased? That’s pretty hypocritical considering your source is the Drudge Report, the same guy who single handedly caused the dead-end investigation of Clinton/Lewinsky. Plain and simple: 9-11 not only happened on -w-‘s watch but he ignored the intelligence that could have prevented it. Moreover, I believe it to be the extremist right-wing agenda for us to split hairs over pre 9-11 happenings when it’s the backwards, extremist, politically motivated, xenophobic warmongering that the administration has engaged in in the days immediately following 9-11 that should concern us.

If we dems don’t take back the Whitehouse this time around, it won’t be the same country be the time we get another shot.

    Nice blog.

  2. Well, it’s an AP story, I probably could have found it through any number of other sites.

Extremist right wing actions would be closing down our borders, pulling all our troops from everywhere back in, and hunkering down for the long haul. Probably some protectionist tariffs or something too. The extreme right-wingers are as upset about Iraq as you are.

And how you feel about the Republicans taking us down the wrong road, welcome to 1996. That’s what I thought about Clinton. But you’re right, it won’t be the same country.

  3. *sigh*

Davey, Bush didn’t know. Nobody knew. That’s why it happened. Take the intelligence we had and use that as the primary cause to attack al queda and Bush gets impeached. It’s just that simple.

Aside: I’d really feel much better about the four more years of Bush that we’re going to get if he’d stop spending money like a democrat.

  4. I’d feel better if we had pressing foreign problems that kept Bush distracted from being so darn compassionate at home for the next 4 years.
