The reserves are for emergencies. Like when Saudia Arabia gets mad at us because we want to stop Al Queda and says they won’t ship us any more oil. Then you release the reserves. Oh, and it was 2.14/gallon yesterday to fill up, not the 2.10 I previously reported.
