The alleged vulnerabilities seem not to be quite so vulnerable in Firfox PR1.0. The javascript pop-over box is… but it’s also pretty obvious what’s going on… anyone who types secure info in to a javascript pop-up deserves what they get. 🙂

New massive security hole was found in the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols today — it allows would-be attackers to read your passwords if you type those passwords into the body of the email and hit the “send” button.
…that’s about how I felt about the javascript vulnerability.

Yeah, I thought Opera’s vulnerability was underwhelming too.
