Flying J, maybe?

Where do tourists buy stuff that says “Coeur d’Alene” or “Idaho” on it. I need gifty things for Christmas and I’m guessing I won’t be able to pick them up online where I normally do my shopping.

  1. Right there … well, downtown … there’s a shop that has “crafty” type stuff in it . . . of course, neither I, nor House Commander, can think of the name of the place … if you’re heading away from the resort, it’s on your right … LOL

  2. Crafty-type store downtown, heading away from the resort on the right. Oh yeah, that one. Thanks. :\

  3. And, don’t forget Wal-Mart … LOL!!!

Oh, the store is more “whimsical” than crafty, I suppose …

  4. Walmart, eh? I think I’ll pass on that one. After 8am the patrons of that store scare me. Before 8am no one is in there and I don’t mind so much. Except the milk is clear in the back and it takes 5 minutes just to get back there.

Whimisical or crafty, that still describes half of the downtown stores. I guess I’ll just walk in, look around like a n00b, and walk back out of a few.

  5. i think that’s where chad lives, you might ask him.

  6. Chad lives at Walmart?! Nice.

  7. ebay maybe? i know there is a store in the mall in boise that has a bunch of that stuff, but it doesn’t seem to have a website. also, you could try ebay, but thats sort of cutting it close.

    nice blog…i’ll be linking ya.

  8. Kokomo’s downtown… Lots of cool shirts, hats, mugs, sweatshirts, and other overly expensive doo-dads.

  9. Fantastic. Thanks, Phil.

tami, Ebay was the first place I tried.
