So, I’m switching over to TimeWarner’s Road Runner service since Adelphia has been replaced as my cable internet supplier. Let’s see how it goes.

Oh, Road Runner doesn’t like Firefox, I have to use IE and it resized my window to tell me that. I hate that.
So, I had to enable all that ActiveX stuff in IE. Good times.

Then it automatically installs something. Yes.

And then it froze up. no connectivity.

Well, we’ll come back to this fun later. Thanks for the good time.

    Well, it’s what I was expecting. Not once did Adelphia’s little program install right, I took to calling them instead of bothering with it. Must be a cable internet thing.

    I miss the good old days when the ISP would give you a list of IP addresses and DNS servers to enter manually using my awesome new 56k modem.  And then 98 would crash. Again. Yeah! The good old days.

    I think it’s just their transfer program that doesn’t want to use FF.
