I did a dumb thing

I went and bought Civ IV. So I spent last night thinking things like, just three more turns, I’ll have my space elevator. Dumber still, I’ll do the same thing tonight. But I will get my space program off the ground if it kills me.

    Blah TBS games pale in comparsion to a real good RTS. I never could handle the turn concept….I wanna gather my stone and gold and march my army right through your camp whenever I darn well feel like it.

    I understand where you’re coming from. The RTS thinking was messing up my game, it took me a while to realize that I didn’t have to click through everything as fast as possible to avoid getting overrun. Plus, the fact that I didn’t have to be constantly growing villagers to do work was an odd concept.

    It’s a nice change though.

    I would be lost if I didn’t allocate half my population to villagers/workers.
