That'll play in Peoria

Franklin Graham is attempting to get his aid workers in Sudan killed, apparently. Remember how well it went when the Pope made an oblique reference to violence and Islam? Yeah. The Dafurians are already either rioting or on the verge of rioting. This will be a great excuse.

  1. But aren’t we supposed to speak up against evil? What about that saying that goes something like this: for evil to triumph, all it takes is for good men to (say or) do nothing?

Franklin Graham is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, and neither are the Christian workers in Sudan and Darfur, otherwise they wouldn’t be doing what they’re doing.

  2. Yes, I just spoke to one of them (not that works for Samaritians Purse, works with the people that work for Samaritians Purse). They are in a tenuous situation and he just threw gasoline on the fire. The NGOs are barely hanging on in there and if there is rioting no good will come of that. Starvation and death will come of that.

There’s a time to blast away with a shotgun, this was perhaps not it.
