While visiting my sister Joan’s organic farm on Whidbey Island (Hastie Lake Farm) this past weekend, I asked her about her bees and hives. She said she’s noticed a slight decline in ‘her’ bee population, but has been able to collect 2 swarms this spring. So goes the bees, so goes the farm.
