So, my hard drive has started with the click of death. Windows won’t load. All is lost. I have hours of reloading programs to look forward to. But my point here is that it is so hard shopping for a new hard drive. I could go real cheap and get an 80-120 gigs, since I really only need it to hold my OS and programs. Of course my other drives are pretty much maxed out, so more space would be nice. You can get 320G for 70 bucks, but then 500G is only 15 bucks more and then for another 30 bucks you can get 750G. But that’s really over my budget. It’s just like buying popcorn at the movie theater, why get a medium when a large is just 50 cents more.
Then I have to decide if I want to stick with XP or do I try Vista 64bit? I have it, but is it worth the hassle? Learning a whole new OS, and where they hid all the stuff I know right where it is in XP. I should probably get another stick of RAM if I go Vista. Or I could dual boot. Ubuntu, XP and Vista! Yes!
It’s hard being an American.
