Stargate: BattleStar Galactica Universe.
After watching the series premiere: could turn into something good.
It’s darker, as they promised. We can only hope they fix the power issues and can turn on the lights at some point in the near future. Also, we have yet to meet the enemy so that will be interesting (hopefully) to see.
The scientists/wunderkind script and acting are awesome, the military and base personnel are clunky, one-dimensional and need to smooth things out. I’m definitely willing to keep watching, however.
Not So Fast 
Definitely decent, but I’d like it to be a bit more Stargate and a bit less Galactica (another good show, but a very different tone and scope). Still, real potential at this point…I’ll keep watching and we’ll see.
I think it will. You could see the classic Stargate in Eli which gives me hope. I think it’s the trying to be darker that makes the military types so clunky right now. And Stargate has always been good at dropping stuff that doesn’t work, imho.
