Kindle for PC.  Now they have me. But, I so don’t want to get tied into a single nontransferable format. It sounds like a nightmare for licensing too.  I have 4 computers I might want to read on, and what happens when I upgrade them?

Still not inclined over here. It seems like every third person on the ferry has one, but I still don’t see the appeal.

Not that I’m complaining. I’m sitting on a pile of Amazon stock which actually has some decent value thanks to Kindle sales. But I’ll still buy the dead tree version, thanks.

  2. See, I’ve been buying more and more to read on my computer (webscriptions.net, ftw). I could see where I would use it. Not $250 worth of use, but when the prices drop (and the drm goes away).
