Not So Fast 
The “trick” e-mail dates from 1999: so there wouldn’t have been a decline from 1961 because, IIRC there was this super hot year in 1998.
Agreed. Illegally accessing and distributing emails from a private email server is a great way to do politics.
Science will stick with the mountains of evidence and peer review.
