The Worst Teacher I Ever Had

I don’t even remember her name, but it was 5th grade. We’d just moved and I’d left an awesome teacher. I have no idea why, but I didn’t like the new lady, so I stopped caring about pleasing my teachers and I stopped doing my homework. A habit I continued right through the rest of my schooling, to my grades detriment.

I remember her as a shrew that didn’t particularly like kids, but at this point, I can’t back that up in any way. If you told me she was the opposite, I would believe you. But something about her sent me off.

  1. That’s interesting cause I had Mr. McCord who was probably the best teacher I ever had. If we’re talking about Juniper, I mean. I guess you were in 5th grade in VC as well.

  2. Yes, in Valley Center. I had a great time in Mr. Birkhauser’s class @ Juniper. See, I remember his name because I liked him. It probably made the difference all that much greater.
