Totally lacking: A-Team, Greatest American Hero, Cheers, Simon & Simon, Fall Guy, Dukes of Hazzard, Macgyver, Airwolf, Scarecrow & Mrs. King, Star Trek: TNG, Perfect Strangers, Golden Girls, Night Court, Muppet Show, Cosby Show, and we haven’t even touched cartoons and barely looked at sitcoms.
Let’s just say there were a lot of good theme songs in the 80s.
Listen to all those in a row and you definitely sense the trends of 80s TV music.
Poor shows today that don’t have time for awesome theme songs since they have to make room for so many commercials…
