It’s appalling that Green Day won Rolling Stones’ Greatest Punk Band of All Time poll. Every other band on that list should have beat them, since, you know, they were actually punk bands (yes, yes The Clash and Social Distortion crossed genres too. Still better.)
I’m going to go listen to Social D now in protest.
